Here, contracts, cost centers, cost types, and currencies can be managed.
Contract Management
Here contracts can be created. A contract can be linked to one or multiple objects.
A contract has a number of essential fields:
Field | Description |

Code | Give the contract a unique code |
Name | Provide a name for the contract |
Customer | Specify the customer or relation the contract is with |
Customer Code | Enter the code the customer has assigned to the contract |
Start | The start date of the contract |
End | The end date of the contract |
Warn From | From this date, a notification can be sent indicating the contract is about to expire |
Amount | The amount associated with the contract |
Responsible | The person responsible for the contract |
A contract also has several tabs where information can be entered:

Detail | The basic information of the contract as described above |
Objects | The objects that fall under the contract. For each object link, the number of visits can optionally be specified |
Attachments | Attachments related to the contract can be added here |
Costcenters
Here cost centers that can be linked to an object are defined. Costs booked to the object are automatically also linked to the object’s cost center. A cost center requires a code (must be unique) and a name.
Cost types
Here the cost types that can be selected for a time entry can be defined.
For each cost type, several fields can be specified:

Code | Must be unique |
Name | The name of the cost type, e.g., “Day Hours” or “Night Hours” |
Type | Determines whether the costs apply to time entries, parts, or other costs |
Is Standard | Indicates if this is the default type that is automatically filled in when creating a time entry |
Price per Unit | The optional price per unit, e.g., the price for “Day Hours” or “Night Hours” |
Currencies
Here the currencies used in ControlOffice can be managed.
Each currency has a code (must be unique) and a name.
