SaaS terms

These terms apply between the customer and ControlOffice:

  • Payment is made annually in advance and starts on the first day of the new month after a customer begins using our services.

  • A notice period of one month applies after the first year has passed.

  • Any uploaded files remain the property of the customer and will be returned after the termination of the SaaS contract with ControlOffice.

  • Database backups are retained for up to 30 days. Restoration is possible by the hour, up to 30 days back. Contract ControlOffice if needed.

  • Files uploaded to our server(s) via ControlOffice cannot be recovered once permanently deleted through the file manager in ControlOffice.

  • Each hosted database/website includes 25 GB of storage for files uploaded via ControlOffice. If this limit is exceeded, the customer will be contacted and the monthly fee may be increased. 

  • ControlOffice’s server(s) are located in Western Europe. All data, both uploaded by the customer and the software itself, will remain there. Our databases are stored in a zone-redundant manner, meaning multiple online copies are kept at the Microsoft data center in Middenmeer, spread across different physical locations.

  • All your uploaded data, both outside and within the database, is treated confidentially. No one outside ControlOffice has access to ControlOffice’s server(s).

  • All websites hosted by ControlOffice are equipped with SSL certification, ensuring secure data transmission.

  • If there is an issue accessing a website or a problem within ControlOffice, you can contact ControlOffice via telephone at +31 592 40 9911 or email info@tdo.nl. You can also reach out directly to your personal contact within ControlOffice. ControlOffice is available on working days between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Outside business hours, the helpdesk is only reachable via email. Emails received outside working hours will be addressed the next business day.

  • If server maintenance is required, it will take place as much as possible during the weekend. Notification will be sent via email no later than 3 working days in advance.

  • ControlOffice maintains an online availability guarantee of at least 98%.

  • If ControlOffice were to cease its services, we will ensure your data is made available to you in a timely manner.

  • Hosting is provided via Microsoft’s Azure platform. ControlOffice adheres to and complies with Azure's general terms and conditions, which may override some of the provisions stated in this document.
